Celta odds subside

Home teams seem to have an edge over their opponents, but caution is always advised when Cup matches are involved. In the Spanish Cup, a Celta win is favoured in the rematch of their first leg defeat at Almeira (0-2).

The coupon features Randers against Midtjylland for the Danish Cup, and markets are leaning towards the home side coming out on top at evens and 11/10, while there were substantial punts on the Over, in a battle that should be a tough one.

Hosts Granada will try to turn a 1-0 defeat at Zaragoza in the first leg of Spanish Cup, something not easy given the quality of their opponents. Mallorca is aiming to cover a 1-0 handicap from the first leg against visitors La Coruna at home.

Celta has a taller order, as they have to turn a 2-goal deficit around (2-0) against Almeira at home. The markets are showing some confidence in the home team as their odds dropped to 4/5 and ¾.

In the Belgian Cup, Gent will host Standard Liege in a match that is open to all results. In the French League Cup, Rennes will host Troyes with the home side seen as hot favourites at 2/5.

In the encounter between Hertha and Cologne for the German 2nd division, the home side is in good form, but the visitors should not be discarded and will fight for a result.

In the semi-finals of the Sudamericana, Los Millionarios will host Tigre, and the Colombian home side will aim for a win to gain the advantage in light of the second leg. The odds for a home win dropped below 3/5 to 11/20.

In the Mexican first division, Tijuana host Toluca in the league’s first final and hope to grab a win, with odds for the home side falling to 3/20 and 11/10.
